Admissions and Tuition
Admission requirements
- Applicants should hold a B.S. degree in engineering or a related field. Applicants whose B.S. or B.A. is not in engineering must have a minimum of 16 undergraduate credit hours in science or engineering.
- Applicants should have a minimum undergraduate grade-point average of 3.00 (on a 4.00 scale) on the equivalent of the last 60 semester hours.
- Applicants whose native language is not English must provide scores from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The minimum acceptable score on the TOEFL is 580.
- International applicants also must have a degree comparable to an approved U.S. bachelor's degree.
- Applicants are not required to submit scores from the Graduate Record Examination (GRE).

Application deadline
Applications to begin studies in September must be submitted by August 1. Applications are reviewed and considered in the order received. Therefore, we encourage you to apply as early as possible.

- Download Application Package with Professional History, Reasons for Graduate Study and Transcript Request forms in Adobe Acrobat Reader© compatible format. (237K; to print them, remember to use Acrobat's print function rather than your browser's.) Request an information package to receive printed versions of these forms along with an METJ description.
- Submit the following by mail:
- A completed Professional History form
- A completed Reasons for Graduate Study form

Tuition
Students who have been admitted to the degree program will pay tuition of $4,725 for each course for academic year 2008-2009. It is expected that most students will take one or two courses per semester. Additional fees may be charged for telecommunication costs, depending upon the technology selected for participation or course delivery.
